Start and end in Cairo! With the Explorer tour Cairo and Nile Cruise Tours - Included Internal Flights

Start and end in Cairo! With the Explorer tour Cairo and Nile Cruise Tours – Included Internal Flights, you have a 7 days tour package taking you through Cairo, Egypt and 6 other destinations in Egypt. Cairo and Nile Cruise Tours – Included Internal Flights includes accommodation in a hotel as well as flights, an expert guide, meals, transport

Day 1 Arrival Cairo

The manager of Getaways Egypt Tours will meet you at Cairo International Airport, bring you to your hotel, go over a revised itinerary with you, and give you an overview of the day’s activities and lodgings. Stay overnight in a Cairo hotel.

Day 2 Cairo – Giza Pyramids – Sphinx – Egyptian Museum – Lunch

This morning, explore the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, as well as the well-known Sphinx and Valley Temple.

As you approach these architectural marvels, enjoy the thrill of seeing their old slopes through the gaps between Cairo’s new skyscrapers. Stand under the shadow of the complex’s greatest building, the 481-foot Great Pyramid of Khufu.

At that moment, head to the Egyptian Museum to learn about Tutankhamen’s fortunes. It’s the ideal introduction to the ancient places you’ll visit along the Nile, thanks to the insights of our Egyptologist Tour guide. After a long day, return to your hotel in Cairo for Overnight.

Meals Included: Breakfast – Lunch

Day 3 Flight Cairo/ Aswan – Aswan Sightseeing – High Dam – Phiale Temple – Nubian Village

Take a short flight from Cairo to Aswan and begin your day. You’ll be touring Aswan and getting onto your Nile Cruise Ship. Enjoy a full day of sightseeing, beginning with a visit to the Aswan High Dam, which was built from 1960 to 1970. It is the world’s largest embankment dam, designed to manage the Nile and floods in Egypt.

Then you will see the Philae Temple, which was erected to honor the goddess Isis. It is a wonderfully lovely temple, and it would have been lost to floods if the Aswan Dam had not been constructed. Enjoy the journey back to Aswan, board your cruise ship, and eat lunch as it departs for your next destination.

Late afternoon (optional tour). Nubian Village is beautifully painted in every hue of the rainbow. To start farming near the Nile. A little community with its own culture. Camels moved through the streets. Stay overnight in Aswan.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 4 Aswan – Abu Simbel – Set sail to Kom Ombo

There is an excellent opportunity for an early morning optional tour to the Great Temples of Abu Simbel, where you will see the magnificent sanctuaries that served Ramses II and his beloved monarch Nefertari. These sanctuaries on the Sudanese border are famous not only for their beauty, but also for their innovative history: they were relocated in 1968 to avoid submersion by the massive Lake Nasser.
Set sail to Kom Ombo for a 5-hour voyage from Aswan to your next destination.

Explore Kom Ombo Temple. This remarkable dual-deity temple of the Ptolemaic Period is dedicated to both Haroeris (one of the oldest forms of the falcon-headed God Horus) and, suitably, the frightening Crocodile God Sobek.
Egyptian Night Party It is customary on Nile Cruise ships to hold a party where everyone buys and wears a Galabeya, a traditional Egyptian gown. Most folks purchased their Galabeya. A fun-filled party with old 60s and 70s dancing tracks as well as Arabian music. Overnight at Edfu

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 5 Edfu – Horus Temple – Luxor – Karnak Temples

Temple tour of Edfu with the Nile. Begin your morning excursion in the well-preserved and massive Edfu Temple. The temple was built to worship Horus, the god of the sky and son of Osiris and Isis. Cleopatra VII reigned during the Greco-Roman period, when the temple was completed.
Following your tour, you will continue your journey along the Nile, arriving at Luxor in the afternoon for a visit to each of the famous temples at Luxor and Karnak. You will witness how the pharaohs were utilized to construct massive temples at Luxor and Karnak to glorify the god Amun Ra. You will view the freshly opened Sphinx Avenue, as well as many other sights. At night, the temple displays are a must-see and provide excellent photo possibilities.
Enjoy your final evening on board with an evening of entertainment, including a belly dancing presentation and music.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 6 Valley of the Kings – Hatshepsut Female Pharaoh – Flight Cairo/Luxor

The journey begins early in the morning by driving to the West Bank and crossing the Nile River to Luxor. You will see the Temple of Hatshepsut, one of ancient Egypt’s most successful female Pharaohs, who was inspired by her father, a powerful Pharaoh himself. Her reign was wealthy, and she was well-known for making trading expeditions to Punt—now Somalia—and returning with a bounty of goods.

Following this intriguing historical site, you will go to the Valley of the Kings, where you will visit a royal tomb and view one of the Seven Wonders of the World: 64 tombs ranging in size and depth, from a small pit to a complex tomb with over 120 royal chambers. Also see the Colossus of Memnon and the ongoing archeological work at the site. After that, transfer to Luxor International Airport, then fly to Cairo International Airport. Settle in Cairo and spend the night.
Meals Included: Breakfast

No.of days – 8

Start /end – UGANDA

Price – request a quote for this package

Day 1: Arrive In Uganda

If you are flying into Uganda, you will land at Entebbe International Airport. Depending on what time you arrive and whether you choose to stay in Entebbe or travel to Kampala, you can plan a few activities for the day at Entebbe

Relax near Lake Victoria at one of the many bars and restaurants.
Visit the Entebbe Botanical Gardens, which are full with monkeys and birds.
Take a Sunset Boat Trip on Lake Victoria.
Watch gorilla feedings at the Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary.

At Kampala you can engage in this activities

Take a city walking tour of the most interesting sites to visit in Kampala or enjoy a cuisine tour.
Visit Mengo Palace, the former home of the King of Buganda.
Visit Parliament House Tour. The National Mosque (also known as the Gaddafi Mosque because he donated funds for its building)
Take a day excursion to Jinja and experience whitewater rafting.
Visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
View the city from the Namirembe Cathedral.
Visit the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kasubi Tombs.
Discover Kampala’s nightlife.

Dinner and overnight Entebbe or Kampala B/L/D

Days 2 and 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park

It’s a lengthy trip from Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth National Park in southern Uganda, so stay for two nights to maximize your experience.
There are several routes from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park. We traveled the Fort Portal Road (Highway A109), which runs west from Kampala and south from Fort Portal. The other route is the Mbarara-Kasese road, which runs directly southwest.
The gorgeous 6- to 8-hour ride to Queen Elizabeth National Park takes you via tea plantations, villages, and the borders of Kibale Forest National Park, which is known for its monkeys. Even though you won’t be going into the forest on this excursion, you’ll most likely spot a few colobus monkeys in the treetops beside the road, as well as a variety of colorful birds. Even when it is not rainy season, you will notice how lush and green the land is as you drive.
The highway followed also passes a small marker that indicates the Equator. This isn’t the most impressive landmark near Kampala, but it’s still fun to transition from the northern to southern hemispheres. An evening game drive is an excellent method to spot large cats, which may emerge when the sun and temperature fall. You will be lucky to spot lions.
Early morning game drives reveal hyenas returning to their burrows, warthogs foraging for food, hippos wallowing in waterholes, and an abundance of colorful birds.

Dinner and overnight Queen Elizabeth National Park lodges B/L/D

Day 4: Drive To Ishasha Sector Of Queen Elizabeth National Park

On day four, travel to the southern section of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Ishasha is one of Uganda’s more distant destinations, but it offers a unique environment and fauna.
The travel takes about two hours, but it’s rocky, so ready for a “African massage”!

The Ishasha area of Queen Elizabeth National Park is best known for its tree-climbing lions. While it’s unclear why these lions enjoy climbing into the branches, others believe it’s to escape the heat of the day and avoid biting insects.
There are only a few hundred lions left in Ishasha, so spotting these tree-climbing cats can be tough.

In this region of the country, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda are separated by the Ishasha River. You may drive to the river and see how near the DRC is—only a few metres across the filthy waters. But be warned: if you try to cross, there will be lots of hippos standing in for border security!

Dinner and Over Night Ishasha Wilderness Camp B/L/D

Day 5: Drive To Kisoro Gorilla Trecking

Day five is another long day of driving. Kisoro, located in southwestern Uganda, is approximately a 5-hour journey from Ishasha.

The drive takes you into the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, and this is your first chance to see why it’s so named. The hills are covered in thick forest, with settlements, tea plantations, and tiny pieces of cropland scattered throughout.

Kisoro serves as a gorilla tracking base for those trekking via the southern half of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.

Dinner and overnight Kisoro lodges B/L/D

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking In Uganda

Today is the day you’ve been waiting for: the opportunity to see mountain gorillas in the wild.

Only three countries have wild mountain gorillas Uganda, Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo. More than half of the remaining gorilla population lives in Uganda, making it the best site to see them.

Dinner and overnight Mutanda Lake Resort B/L/D near Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Day 7: Rest By Lake Mutanda

Day 7 is about resting.

Mutanda Lake Resort can offer a variety of activities, such as hiking, boat and canoe tours, Virunga Mountain climbs, trips to see golden monkeys, bird viewing, mountain biking, and community visits.

Alternatively, you may simply relax and enjoy the stunning scenery.

Dinner and Overnight Mutanda Lake Resort

Day 8: Return To Entebbe And End Your Uganda Trip

After breakfast, you check out and drive to Entebbe, depending with time of your flight you enroute through the city.

PACKAGE INCLUDE

7 Nights’ accommodation

Meals on Full board

Mineral water

4*4 land cruiser

Service of a professional guide

Your tour begins in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s world-renowned Northern Safari Circuit. It takes about 3 hours to drive west from Arusha to Tarangire National Park’s Northern Gate.

You’ll embark on a full-day game drive around the park. If you prefer a more intimate encounter, you can also go on a walking safari.

Dinner and overnight at Karatu

Day 2 -4 Seranore (Central Serengeti)

You have now begun your amazing four-hour ride from Karatu to Seronera (Central Serengeti). After about 2 hours, you’ll reach the Serengeti entrance gates, where the real adventure begins.
You will spend the remainder of day 2, all of day 3, and the beginning of day 4 in the Serengeti.

A balloon safari is another popular activity in the Serengeti, in addition to game drives through the open plains. Serengeti balloon safaris (usually $450-550 per person) start before daybreak and provide a bird’s-eye view of the savannah.

They are pricey, but the experiences are truly unforgettable. Where else can you glide freely above Africa’s wilds, possibly witnessing the big migration from the air?

Dinner and overnight at Serengeti

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater And Maasai Tribe

In the early hours of the day, you will travel past expansive forests along the crater rim before starting your thrilling 2,000-meter descent into the Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is unlike any other place on Earth, with towering crater walls encircling a barren plain.

It seemed to me that I had ventured into a lost world with an incredible variety of animals and environments.

You’ll spend the early hours on a game drive in the crater, followed by lunch on the banks of Lake Magadi, a big alkaline lake inhabited by flamingos and hippos.
In the afternoon, you will ascend the crater and visit a Maasai settlement to observe their famed jumping dance and learn more about their distinct culture.

You will also go on a guided walk with the Maasai around the crater rim, where you will be rewarded with breathtaking vistas and learn about the Maasai’s strong relationship to the crater.

After breakfast, you'll leave Kigali for the lengthy but scenic trip south to Nyungwe National Park. Along the route, you'll discover why Rwanda is known as 'The Land of 1000 Hills'.

Rwanda, often called the “Land of a Thousand Hills,” is a small but stunningly beautiful country in East Africa. Known for its lush landscapes and rolling hills, it offers a unique blend of natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. The country is famous for its mountain gorillas, which can be seen in Volcanoes National Park, a top destination for wildlife enthusiasts.

In addition to its wildlife, Rwanda has a vibrant and resilient history. The capital city, Kigali, is a symbol of the nation’s recovery and growth after the 1994 genocide. The Kigali Genocide Memorial serves as a powerful reminder of the past, while the city’s modern development highlights its progress.

Rwanda is also a leader in conservation and eco-tourism. Its commitment to sustainability makes it an ideal destination for responsible travelers. From its wildlife to its people, Rwanda offers an unforgettable experience.

Day One – Kigali – Nyungwe National Park

After breakfast, you’ll leave Kigali for the lengthy but scenic trip south to Nyungwe National Park. Along the route, you’ll discover why Rwanda is known as ‘The Land of 1000 Hills’.
The trip will be divided up into several stops. You will visit Nyanza, where you may see the former palace of Rwanda’s last king. You will then stop at the Butare National Museum.
After lunch, you’ll head to Nyungwe, crossing through the forest. You may witness playful primates playing by the road as you travel.

Dinner and overnight Nyungwe Forest Lodge or similar B\L\D

Day Two – Nyungwe Forest National Park

You’ll wake up early for breakfast before heading off in quest of Rwanda’s fascinating and endangered chimp population. There are only four hundred chimps in the country, so there’s no guarantee you’ll see them on your trip, but your Shadows of Africa guide will do everything he can to offer you a sight of our closest animal relatives.
Even if you don’t see a chimp, the national park is a delightfully diverse site to visit in the morning while looking for them and after lunch.
In the afternoon, you’ll look for another of the park’s primate residents, the cheeky black and white colobus monkey. These active monkeys are an easier stroll than the chimps, and you’ll enjoy their playful behavior.

Dinner and overnight Nyungwe Forest Lodge or similar B\L\D

Day Three – Nyungwe – Lake Kivu

You’ll start your day with your choice of a guided waterfall walk or a walk along the Nyungwe Forest National Park’s famous elevated canopy walk.

Both provide a unique viewpoint on this stunning park, and as you journey through the dense forest, you’ll gain a new respect for Rwanda’s natural beauty.

Following your morning exercise, you will travel to Karongi on the banks of Lake Kivu. The drive to this wonderful city takes you down one of the most scenic segments of road you’ll ever see, passing through hills and valleys along the way.

Dinner and overnight Serena Lake Kivu or similar B\L\D

Day Four – Lake Kivu – Volcanoes National Park

You’ll begin your day with a morning boat ride on Lake Kivu, taking in the tranquility and beauty of this vast freshwater lake. During your boat ride, you’ll see the gorges, mountains, rivers, and islands that make up one of Rwanda’s most picturesque landscapes.
After a delicious lunch, you’ll go to Musanze on the borders of Volcanoes National Park, where you’ll visit the Gorilla Guardian Village to discover more about Rwanda’s pre-colonial heritage.

Dinner and overnight Muhabura hotel or similar B\L\D

Day Five – Gorilla Trekking

Following an early breakfast at your accommodation, you will travel immediately to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters to meet your guides. Following the briefing, you’ll embark on the once-in-a-lifetime adventure of pursuing the enigmatic mountain gorillas.

There is no certainty as to how lengthy or tough your tracking experience will be because it is dependent on the location of the gorilla family and weather conditions. Trekking through the mountain forest at quite high altitudes can take anything from two to six hours. Those planning to participate in the tour should be in good physical condition.

Once you’ve found the gorillas, you’ll get an hour of close contact with them, which will undoubtedly be one of the most remarkable experiences of your life. You’ll be able to get up close and personal with a family of these rare and magnificent animals, seeing their family dynamics and learning a little about each gorilla’s unique personality in peaceful solitude.

Dinner and overnight Virunga lodge or similar B\L\D

Day Six – Volcanoes National Park – Kigali

Today, you’ll get the opportunity to experience a different aspect of the stunning Volcanoes National Park region by picking one of the following activities: Gold Monkey Trekking You’ll walk through sun-dappled glades and dense bamboo stands in search of these friendly monkeys, who are used to visitors. This means you may watch the golden monkeys play, feed, and leap from tree to tree as if you were not present. While your time with the monkeys is restricted to one hour, it is enough time to observe the curious creatures in their natural environment. Mount Bisoke HikeThe 3,700m High Mountain is an example of a completely domed volcano, with a deep crater lake at its summit, and provides for a delightful but physically hard day hike.

Depending on your fitness level and the number of stops, the round trip can take anything from five hours to a whole day.Along the route, you’ll encounter a variety of ecological zones, ranging from lush bamboo forest at the mountain’s base to sparse bushlands at the summit. A trained guide will accompany you at all times, and porters can be hired to help carry your goods. If you’re lucky, you might even see some of the park’s gorillas on your trip. Dian Fossey’s Experience Following in the footsteps of Dian Fossey, the woman behind Gorillas in the Mist, you’ll visit Volcanoes National Park to see the amazing woman’s former study site as well as the grave where she and her beloved companion, Digit, were buried following their tragic murders. This walk, like the Mt. Bisoke hike, brings you inside Volcanoes National Park, where you can see some of the park’s primates. In the afternoon, you’ll return to Kigali for the night.

Dinner and overnight Kigali Serena hotel or similar B\L\D

DAY SEVEN – KIGALI

After breakfast, you’ll be taken on a city tour of some of the city’s most famous landmarks, including the artisan markets, genocide memorial, and campaign against genocide museum.
Finish your last-minute shopping before heading to the airport for your next destination.
